Invisible monitoring is most easily achieved if the speakers are very close to the listening position, using a microphone, dummy load or dummy head phone. The microphone in the head phone should pick up a narrow band of the whole spectrum, so it must remain perfectly close to the necessary frequency. If the speakers are far away from the microphone the sound will get so reduced in level that the level of errors will be greatly reduced. The apparent problem is the need to ensure the microphone is within the frequency band of interest.
I then ran test audio through a variety of different and unusual audio interfaces from Cambridge Audio: a double Digital Audio Tape recorder (either one of the V2 and V3 formats) and a 48 channel Digital I/O audio interface. The 5.1 speaker audio tests are performed with the hardware and software that was used, because the 5.1 format is mainly for stereo - it's just the most convenient way to do it, and I did do some work on Dolby 5.1 mixdowns.
Also, I spent about $10,000 and built my own Well Tempered PED system's, which I needed to have the best speakers and amplifiers for my room's size. The room's resonance is very high, and I had to build my own PED system to get a smooth enough sounding room without lots of room resonances. 7211a4ac4a
